The Nod
For the past few years I’ve always been confused by the conspiratorial nod. It happens when you’re passing someone in the corridor and you don’t quite say ‘hello’ and instead just give a small, almost imperceptible, nod. I’ve always felt completely awkward when doing it and yet it is now an instinctive action. Has anyone else contemplated this strange social phenomenon or am I alone in my teenage musings?
